Job Summary: Performance Paving Services Inc. (PPSI) is gearing up for the summer season and is seeking skilled individuals to join our Summer Services Department. As a leading provider of paving and construction services in Edmonton and the surrounding areas, we specialize in delivering high-quality solutions to meet our clients’ needs during the summer months.
Available Positions:
- Power Sweeping Technicians
- Line Painting Crew Members
- Hot/Cold Pour Crack Sealing Specialists
- Parking Lot Maintenance Technicians
- Sidewalk Repair and Maintenance Crews
Responsibilities:
- Perform power sweeping of parking lots and roadways to remove debris and maintain cleanliness
- Apply line markings and pavement markings for parking lots, roadways, and other surfaces
- Conduct hot and cold pour crack sealing to prevent water infiltration and prolong pavement life
- Assist with parking lot maintenance tasks such as pothole repairs, surface sealing, and striping
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in power sweeping, line painting, crack sealing, or parking lot maintenance is preferred
- Ability to operate specialized equipment and machinery safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for certain positions
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
