Job Summary:
Performance Paving Services Inc. (PPSI) is a family-owned and operated construction and paving company dedicated to excellence in product and service. With over 24 years of industry experience, we are a trusted provider of commercial, industrial, and residential construction services in Edmonton and the surrounding areas. As we expand our operations, we are currently seeking skilled individuals to join our Paving Crews.
Available Positions:
- Paver Operators
- Screed Operators
- Roller Operators
- Labourers
- Experienced and Ticketed Flaggers
- Class 1 & 3 Drivers (Driver’s Abstract Must Be Provided for Past 5 Years)
Responsibilities:
- Operate paving equipment such as pavers, screeds, and rollers to achieve project goals
- Assist crews with equipment operation or laborer duties as needed
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Work closely with a team to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and in various locations as required
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of paving experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge and experience working with asphalt and the paving process
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Pre-employment drug screening required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
