Job Summary: Performance Paving Services Inc. (PPSI) is seeking skilled individuals to join our Concrete Department. With a strong reputation for excellence in construction services, we specialize in providing high-quality concrete solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects in Edmonton and the surrounding areas.
Available Positions:
- Concrete Finishers
- Concrete Labourers
- Concrete Form Setters
- Concrete Pump Operators
- Concrete Equipment Operators
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete finishing and smoothing to achieve the desired surface texture and appearance
- Assist with the setting up and removal of concrete forms according to project specifications
- Operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Work closely with a team to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
- Previous experience in concrete finishing, forming, pumping, or truck driving preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for truck driver positions
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed
Job Type: Full-time Seasonal
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule: 12-hour shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime, Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
